Buy an edema brace with expert advice
If you suffer from excessive fluid in your body, there is a chance that you suffer from edema. This is a condition that is common in the ankles, lower legs or lungs and can greatly hinder your daily life. Check out more about what edema is and how to treat it below.
What is an edema?
Edema is a condition in which the body retains fluid in places where it does not belong. Fluid then enters the ankles, the lower leg or in the lungs. The condition is more common when problems with blood drainage are experienced earlier, damage to the lymphatic vessels, damage to the blood vessels or when the body does not ingest enough protein. It is therefore recommended at all times to contact your doctor, to prevent it from spreading.
What does the treatment look like?
There may be several underlying causes in edema. For optimal treatment of the condition, it is therefore important to know what causes edema. To do this, contact your doctor for the correct diagnosis. In addition, it is important to pay attention with salt eating and to keep exercising enough. This is the minimum of 30 minutes of exercise per day. Finally, the use of water pills or a compression stocking can prevent edema.
Which braces do we recommend?
For the treatment of edema in the ankles and lower legs, the use of a walker is recommended. The walker provides a defecation of the ankles and stimulation of the circulatory system. As a result, the fluid is drained faster, which ensures that the edema decreases faster. See below which walkers and other braces are suitable for the treatment of edema.

Kinesiology tape can also be used in the treatment of edema. By in-tapping in edema, the fluid is drained away so that the body can recover faster. It can be applied to arms and legs, but it can also be used in places of the body where no compression can be provided. See more about the type possibilities in case of edema below.
