Portable case containing all measuring equipment for measuring the strength, touch and mobility of the hand and fingers. Comes with a hand dynamometer (1), a pinch meter (2), a goniometer (3), 2-point discriminator(4), Wartenburg pinwheel(5), Finger circumference gauge (6) and Functional finger motion gauge(7).
Set includes:
- Hydraulic hand dynamometer
Displays a very correct measurement of the (hand) force. The movable lever has 5 positions and can be adjusted to the large of the hand or specifically for measuring intrinsic/extrinsic muscles. Despite the spring mechanism, no resistance is felt. The hand lingers at the highest achieved value allowing easy to read and reset. The values can be read in pounds and kilograms.
- Hydraulic pinch dynamometer
For the showdown of fine grips as a key grip (lateral grip), three-point grip and two-point grip (“ok-sign”). The hand lingers at the highest achieved value allowing easy to read.
- Finger goniometer
A stainless steel goniometer for measuring the rank-of-motion of the finger at 180° per 5°. The fixed axle is 15cm and can also be used as a ruler.
- 2-point discriminator
Is a sensibility meter for the fine and coarse sense of touch of the hand after nerve damage. The measuring instrument is suitable for research in nerve regeneration, skin grafting and sensation changes.
- Wartenburg Pinwheel
The Wartenberg pinwheel is a sensitization meter for testing skin sensitivity and pain sensation.
- Finger circumference Gauge
Measuring instrument for measuring the size of a finger or joint. Useful for the post-ok treatment of edema and/or hand injuries.
- Functional Finger Motion Gauge
For a simple and quick measurement of joint mobility (flexion/extension/opposition).
